The Flashforge Creator 3 is a fully enclosed dual-extruder FDM 3D printer that offers an outstanding build volume of 350 x 250 x 200 mm and can print layers at just 50 microns, which makes it perfect for professional use. Its modular design and enclosed frame make for a safe and streamlined printing experience, while its independent dual extrusion system lets you print with two different materials in one go. The machine features a flexible build plate made from steel that can be heated up to 120 °C, ensuring effortless print removal and perfect first layer adhesion. The maximum extruder temperature up to 300 °C lets one reliably handle industrial-grade materials and high-temperature plastics.

Print quality

The Flashforge Creator 3 is an FFF/FDM 3D printer that can print layers as thin as 50 microns. This way you can produce highly detailed prints with smooth exterior surfaces.

The printer is equipped with two 0.4 mm stainless steel nozzles that can heat up to 300 ℃, giving you the best balance between print speed and detail. In addition, there are three CF nozzles of 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm to use for printing carbon fiber composite materials. The extruders come with built-in leveling sensors ensuring accurate and effective IDEX printing.

The all-metal frame and heavy duty linear bars ensure smooth and precise movement of the print head, which makes the Creator 3 printer reliable while enabling it to produce highly detailed prints in a consistent, fast, and accurate manner. The Creator 3 also offers automatic bed leveling so you can proceed to the actual printing process shortly after unboxing it.

Materials

The Flashforge Creator 3 is compatible with a wide range of printable materials such as PLA, ABS, PA, PC, PVA, PETG, HIPS, and other engineering and high-temperature plastics. Due to IDEX technology, the printer can save effort and time, doubling production capability within the same timeframe. It is capable of multiple printing modes: Duplicate Printing allows to print a model and its exact copy, Mirror Printing — for simultaneous production of a model and its inverse, and Dual-Color Printing speaks for itself. Besides, the dual extruder can be used to print water-soluble supports when printing objects with a complex structure.  

The Creator 3 model is equipped with two extruder fans ensuring better control over the cooling profile. The new integrated printheads and heating assembly allow for a more comprehensive heating action, with their modular design making disassembly and maintenance much easier. The printer's heated build chamber also features a reliable ventilation system to ensure consistency and better printing quality when dealing with high-temperature plastics. The fans cool models during printing, which reduces warping, stringing, and other related issues.

Look and feel
