Print quality

The new Raise3D Pro2 Plus is an FDM 3D printer that can print incredibly thin layers at 10 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. The rugged design, quality electrical and mechanical components with full warranty coverage, and smart features of the product deliver excellent print quality while ensuring increased stability, accuracy, and high repeatability. The multiple fail-safe systems allow completing your prints every time. The printer's electronic driven dual extrusion with retracting hot ends and 1.5 mm lifting distance between the idle printing nozzle and the printed object makes the printer more versatile and flexible.

The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight, and effective—all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.

The Pro2 Plus utilizes the Atmel ARM Cortex M7.400 MHZ FPU as its motion controller. This allows the machine to deliver silky smooth movement, precise positioning, amazing accuracy, and absolute quality 3D prints at any resolution. The controller's exceptional repeatability and high reliability ensure the printer does not become misaligned during the back-and-forth movements while keeping its lightning speed of printing.

Materials

The Raise3D Pro2 Plus prints with a wide range of filament types, including PLA, ABS, HIPS, TPU, PC, PP, Nylon, TPE, FLEX, PETG, Metal PLA, Wood PLA, Carbon Fiber, and other materials. 

The extruder comes with a fan for 3D printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality of final products. Like its predecessor, the Pro2 Plus includes a HEPA filter to reduce the emissions and fan speed regulation for better control over the cooling process for each print job.

Unlike many FDM printers, the Raise3D Pro2 Plus has a heated aluminum build plate providing even heat distribution as well as enclosed print chamber alongside a full metal frame, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials. Indeed, the enclosure ensures temperature stability being perfect for temperature-sensitive filaments. Still, the print bed features a magnetic removal mechanism to easily remove the prints.

Printer controls and software

The Raise3D Pro2 Plus 3D printer is controlled via PC or a fitted, 7-inch touch screen with a clear interface and decent resolution (1024 x 600). Extremely easy-to-use, the display offers great usability and user-friendliness throughout the whole 3D printing process. 

3D models can be printed from a computer via Wi-Fi, LAN, or USB. You can keep an eye on things via the printer’s built-in camera for efficient monitoring.

The printer is compatible with the IdeaMaker slicing software. It lets you handle almost any feature of the printer from a computer providing a smooth manufacturing experience. The IdeaMaker includes print settings management and print queue. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. With the IdeaMaker supported file types (such as STL, OBJ, and 3MF formats), one can work at any 3D model with convenience and ease.
