The Raise3D MetalFuse is a professional MIM 3D printing system that represents a complete solution for cost- and energy-effective yet environmentally friendly metal parts manufacture, which favorably distinguishes Metal Injection Molding from CNC and SLM (Selective Laser Melting) processes. The MetalFuse includes the Forge1 FFF 3D printer, D200-E cleaning station, and S200-C sintering furnace. All these devices are aimed at reliable performance, smooth operation, low overhead costs, and efficient batch production of high-quality items.
The Forge1 3D printer boasts a capacious print area providing you with a true creative freedom. The dual extruding system with electronic lifting and precise kinematics ensures high speed and accuracy of printing. Apart from this, the device has a number of smart features optimizing the working process, such as the automatic bed leveling, filament runout sensor, HEPA filter with activated charcoal, and more.
The D200-E debinding machine provides outstanding productivity and quality of the intended process. It uses a completely safe catalytic procedure based on oxalic acid in contrast to slower solvent and thermal debinding. With this method, the debinding cycle takes 60% less time and you still obtain parts with an impressive density. The D200-E can reach a speed of 1.55 mm/h. It is focused on safety and comes equipped with automated interlock mechanisms, front-mounted E-stop, and activated carbon adsorption facilities. In addition, the device boasts mobility and user-friendly design.
The S200-C vacuum sinter requires no additional consumables and boasts low gas consumption making it a really cost-effective solution. Apart from this, a single cycle of the S200-C equals 10–24 hours, which is twice as fast compared to other sinters (17–31 hours). Like the D200-E, the machine features smart safety functions, such as the front-mounted E-stop and over-temperature protection. Similarly to the previous element of the system, the sinter is quite mobile and easy to operate.

It is highly recommended to use the MetalFuse system as a whole. Thus, the polymer will be removed from the 3D printed model during the catalytic debinding process, which will result in a pure metal with residual binder. The sintering process will further remove the binder due to the temperatures below the melting point of the metal. That way, the product will achieve its final hardness and strength properties.
Considering all the benefits mentioned, the MetalFuse MIM printing system is an ideal solution for small scale production of end-use parts with outstanding characteristics.
The Raise3D Forge1 is capable of printing layers from 0.25 to 0.1 mm, which lets you mass produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. The innovative catalytic debinding method not only leads to 60% off in processing time (4–12 hours instead of 12–72 hours) but also allows increasing the density of manufactured parts to up to 97% of wrought iron’s level.

The Forge1 features a silicone heated bed with an automatic leveling system, which guarantees accurate calibration, precise printing, and decent quality surface. The 3D printer comes with 0.4 (default), 0.6, and 0.8 mm nozzles for all your printing needs.
The Raise3D MetalFuse series supports the BASF Forward AM’s metal 2.85 filaments — Ultrafuse 316L and Ultrafuse 17-4 PH — contributing to simplicity, efficiency, and safety of the printing process as well as top quality of the outputs. With these high-grade materials, the MetalFuse system is capable of better printing repeatability and a greater yield rate.

For the Forge1 3D printer, the build area varies depending on the number of extruders employed. It is 11.8 x 11.8 x 11.8 in (300 x 300 x 300 mm) for the single extruder print mode and 10 x 11.8 x 11.8 in (255 x 300 x 300 mm) for the dual extruder print mode. The large volume like this allows producing complex end-use parts with improved mechanical properties in batches, which will definitely meet the requirements of small-scale manufacture.
Both the D200-E debinder and S200-C sinter are engineered with a workload envelope of 7.87 x 7.87 x 7.87 in (200 x 200 x 200 mm) making for a sufficient amount of post-processed items in a single session.
All the Raise3D MetalFuse devices are equipped with a large 7" sensitive touchscreens with a resolution of 1024 x 600. Due to an intuitive, carefully designed interface, the machines provide comfortable control allowing users to easily manage the production process with just a few clicks. The built-in camera also provides remote monitoring options.
The MetalFuse series is powered by a special version of the ideaMaker slicer software that helps to prepare digital models for printing. Moreover, the program offers templates optimized for metal printing as well as smooth sintering and debinding processes. The special Metal edition of the ideaMaker software also features simplified slicing algorithms.
The Raise3D MetalFuse printing system is available in black and white colors with red trimmings depending on the device. Its overall stylish look makes it ideal for any workshop or maker lab.
The Forge1 3D printer dimensions are 24.4 x 24.7 x 54.7 in (620 x 626 x 1390 mm), while it weighs 165 lb (75 kg). The D200-E debinder dimensions are 31.73 x 35.63 x 62.32 in (806 x 905 x 1583 mm), while it weighs 640 lb (290 kg).
