It adopts a Melted Extrusion Model printing technology and has been designed for printing multiple jobs without interruption. To achieve this goal, it is engineered with a build plate auto-swapping mechanism and a clever print queue management function.

The Tiertime X5 is a sturdy yet reliable printer with a fully-enclosed design. It is equipped with a heated bed, which is automatically calibrated after each print job. Thanks to the auto-swapping system, the printer is capable of automatically ejecting a completed print from the build plate and reload up to 8 trays starting a new job immediately. This means it is capable of managing up to 8 different jobs in a row. To make this possible, the printer also includes a pause-n-print option, an end-of-the-filament detection system and an internal build plate vault that can house 12 print beds. Print quality

The Tiertime X5 is a continuous MEM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. The device reaches a print speed of 200 mm/s.

It is compatible with multiple nozzle diameter (from 0.2 to 0.5mm). This gives you the possibility to choose the nozzle size that best meets your printing needs. For example, when printing with a 0.2mm nozzle, you will get fine details and high accuracy, when printing with larger nozzles, you will benefit from a faster print speed.

The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.

Materials

The Tiertime X5 comes with a single extruder that can heat up to 299°C.

Thanks to its enclosed chamber and heated plate, it can reliably print with ABS,  ABS+, PLA, TPU and other materials. The print bed heats up to 100°C.

The Tiertime X5 prints with 1.75mm filament, giving you wide material choice.

Build volume

The build area of 7 x 9 x 7.8 inches (180 × 230 × 200 mm) lets you print medium-sized objects with ease. Larger parts can be printed in parts.

Printer controls

The printer features a 7-inch full-color LCD touch display for direct operation. It can be paired to any computer via USB, LAN or over Wi-Fi. It can also be operated independently using a USB pen drive.

The Tiertime Print Queue allows stacking multiple files into a queue. In this way, multiple users can send their files to the printer and then access them via the integrated display or via the printer software.

The Tiertime X5 comes bundled with the proprietary UP Studio Version software. It runs on Windows and Mac operating systems and works with the most common 3D printing file formats, including up3, ups, tsk, stl, obj, 3mf, ply, off, and 3ds.
