Raise3D Industrial PPA Support 1.75 mm 1 kg

The Raise3D Industrial PPA Support is a break-away support material developed specifically for printing with composite filaments based on PPA (Polyphthalamide). It is compatible with the Raise3D IndustrialPPA CF and PPA GF filaments, as well as other PPA-based materials and some PA-based CF filaments.

The Industrial PPA Support filament is indispensable when printing PPA models with complex geometries. Support structures perfectly adhere to the model surface, providing good dimensional accuracy and preventing warping issues and model deformation. Once the printing is over, supports can be easily removed by hand without the need for further post-processing, as the model surface remains smooth and clean.

The Raise3D Industrial PPA Support polymer is moisture sensitive and should therefore be stored and used under dry conditions with relative humidity not exceeding 15%. Before printing, it is recommended to dry the filament in the oven for 4–6 hours at 80–100 °C. Because of the abrasiveness of the material, it is better to print with hardened nozzles to avoid nozzle wear.

Recommended printing parameters:

• Nozzle temperature: 280–290 °C
• Bed temperature: 60–80 °C
• Layer height: 0.1–0.25 mm (with 0.4 mm nozzle)
• Printing speed: 30–90 mm/s
• Cooling fan: off
• Drying temperature: 80-100 °C for 4–6 hours
