Intamsys PA12-CF 1.75 mm 1 kg

The Intamsys PA12-CF is a Nylon 12 filament reinforced with carbon fiber. The reinforcement greatly adds to material stiffness, strength, and thermal properties alongside the highly improved water absorption capability.

Carbon fiber reinforced PA12 filament allows for the production of durable, dimensionally accurate, wear-resistant models with excellent mechanical and thermal properties and incredible moisture resistance. The material creates the possibility for the engineers to design lightweight yet strong and durable parts that can successfully replace metal components without compromising on quality. It is widely used in aerospace, automotive, and other industries both for functional prototyping and end-use parts manufacturing.

The recommended extruder temperature for printing the Intamsys PA12-CF filament is 260–300 °C. Be sure your extruder is equipped with an abrasion-resistant nozzle. A moderately heated print bed and an enclosed heated build chamber are highly recommended.

The Intamsys PA12-CF 1.75 mm carbon fiber reinforced filament is sold in 1 kg spools. It comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
