Intamsys PA6-CF 1.75 mm 1 kg

The Intamsys PA6-CF is a Nylon 6 based filament reinforced with carbon fiber. The reinforcement greatly adds to material stiffness, strength, and heat resistance alongside the improved surface quality which acquires matte black finish and consistency.

Carbon fiber reinforced PA6 filament allows for the production of durable, dimensionally accurate, wear-resistant models with excellent mechanical and thermal properties and aesthetic appearance. The material creates the possibility for the engineers to design lightweight yet strong and durable parts that can successfully replace metal components without compromising on quality. It finds a wide use in aerospace, automotive, and other industries both for functional prototyping and end-use parts manufacturing.

The recommended extruder temperature for printing the Intamsys PA6-CF filament is 280–300 °C. Be sure your extruder is equipped with an abrasion-resistant nozzle. A moderately heated print bed and an enclosed heated build chamber are highly recommended.

The Intamsys PA6-CF 1.75 mm carbon fiber reinforced filament is sold in 1 kg spools. It comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
