Mosaic Element HT 3D Printer

The Mosaic Element HT is a professional FFF 3D printer enhanced with the manufacturer’s patented technology — Series Enabled Multi-Material Extrusion (SEME), which is realized through the company’s most powerful filament splicer — the Palette X. This built-in device features an automated material server module consisting of filament drives, a material cutter, filament homing, and filament measurement systems. It enables printing a single model with up to 8 different consumables supplied with the Mosaic Material Pods — reusable and environmentally sealed dry boxes for filament storage.

The machine is engineered with a capacious build chamber of 14 x 14 x 14 in (355 x 355 x 355 mm) that can be heated up to 80 °C. Coupled with the high temperature 0.4 mm nozzle (max. 500 °C), the Element HT is perfect for industrial-grade use on the cost-effective level. The well-balanced motion system as well as all-metal construction and gantry provide top performance and smooth working process. The print speed of 100 mm/s makes the Element HT a highly productive tool for complex projects, especially as the part of theMosaic Array automated system.

Apart from the listed benefits, the machine offers multiple advanced functions, such as a modular extruder, temperature sensors, rapid build plate change, automated filament load and retraction, optional external fume extraction mechanism (purchased separately), built-in camera for remote monitoring, free dedicated software with a cloud functionality, HEPA/BOFA filter, and removable container for storage.

Print quality

The Mosaic Element HT can print layers at 20 microns. With it, you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces, complex geometry, and detailed composition.

Thanks to the all-metal gantry, serviceable 0.4 mm hardened steel nozzle, and a reliable motion system, the device boasts increased stability of printing. The closed loop feedback system ensures better accuracy and high-quality output.

Materials

The Element HT uses a wide range of consumables including 3rd party materials. The machine can print PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, PEEK, PEKK, ESD, Ultem 9085 as well as Mosaic Origin, Mosaic Matrix, Dissolve LT, and Mosaic Breakaway LT. Nonetheless, TPE and many TPU options are not supported. The manufacturer recommends using Mosaic Flex.

The integrated Palette X filament splicer and 8 Mosaic Material Pods provide an impressive flexibility allowing you to print a single model with up to 8 different materials of various properties. Combine rigid, flexible, and soluble filaments to get unique prints of high quality.

Due to its 500 °C nozzle and 80 °C heated chamber, the printer is able to work with high strength, industrial-grade materials, such as PEEK, Ultem 9085, and Polycarbonate, in a smooth and efficient way. Produce precise and durable parts for the most demanding applications.

Build volume

The build area of 14 x 14 x 14 inches (355 x 355 x 355 mm) lets you make medium-to-large objects and multiple small parts in a single print session.

Printer controls

The Element HT is equipped with a 5" color touchscreen featuring an easy-to-use and clear interface. The connectivity options include USB, LAN, and Wi-Fi, making for an effortless standalone operation. The machine also has a built-in camera for remote monitoring.

The Element HT comes with the proprietary Canvas slicer — free print preparation software with optional paid functionality that supports major file formats. The Mosaic Canvas makes for simple creation, slicing, and managing your print projects via the cloud. The program runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Look and feel

The Mosaic Element HT is available in matte black with green trimmings and a status indicator. Its stylish look will decorate any workshop or maker lab.

The printer dimensions are 36 x 24 x 25 in (911 x 613 x 633 mm). It weighs 95 lb (43 kg). The Material Pods (x4 2-packs) are mounted on the side of the printer.
