The Intamsys PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) is a water-soluble support filament compatible with PLA, TPU, and Nylon-based materials. It is used for printing models with complex geometries, featuring cavities and overhanging elements as well as for assembled parts. PVA is a biodegradable and non-toxic material.
PVA remains rigid while printing, ensuring stable support for the model and perfect adhesion to various thermoplastics. When printing is over, all you need to do is submerge the model into warm tap water, and support structures will dissolve completely, leaving no marks on the model surface.
The Intamsys PVA is the ideal support material for various filaments, as it allows reducing post-processing time and adds to the quality and dimensional stability of the printed model.
The Intamsys PVA 1.75 mm support filament is sold in 1 kg spools. It comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
