Intamsys PPA-GF 1.75 mm 1 kg

The Intamsys PPA-GF is an engineering-grade filament made of Polyphthalamide (PPA), a semi-crystalline, aromatic polyamide, with 15% chopped glass fiber reinforcement designed by the Intamsys company specifically for FDM printing. The substrate material of PPA-GF is high-temperature nylon, which is stronger, less sensitive to moisture, boasts low density, and has higher thermal capabilities than nylon 6. In addition, it offers high abrasion, chemical, fatigue, creep, and heat resistance. The filament’s increased dimensional stability guarantees no warpage and no shrinkage during the printing process.

Due to its outstanding mechanical properties, the Intamsys PPA-GF is well suited for a wide range of applications, such as both interior and exterior components production in automotive industry, home appliances and electronic parts manufacturing, and much more. It can be used with the Intamsys SP5010 quick-remove support material to solve the problem of poor molding effect on the support surface of complex models.

The recommended extruder temperature for printing the Intamsys PPA-GF filament is 290–320 °C. A heated print bed and an enclosed heated build chamber are highly recommended.

The Intamsys PPA-GF 1.75 mm filament is sold in 1 kg spools. It comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
