Intamsys PC-PBT 1.75 mm 1 kg

The Intamsys PC-PBT is a blend of polycarbonate (PC) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) thermoplastics, designed by the Intamsys company specifically for FDM printing. The material combines the high toughness and dimensional stability of PC, and good chemical and heat resistance of crystalline PBT.

Thanks to its high heat resistance and toughness at low temperatures of up to –30 °C, PC-PBT is well suited for printing parts that can withstand severe weather conditions. In automotive industry PC-PBT is used to make both interior and exterior components, such as door handles.

PC-PBT printed models show high dimensional stability, outstanding impact strength, resistance to chemicals and corrosion, and long-term durability. The filament provides smooth printing experience and nice surface appearance of the parts that can be easily post-processed if needed.

The recommended extruder temperature for printing the Intamsys PC-PBT filament is 260–280 °C. The printer should be equipped with a heated print bed and an enclosed heated build chamber.

The Intamsys PC-PBT 1.75 mm engineering-grade filament is sold in 1 kg spools. It comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
