Flashforge Creator 4 FFF 3D Printer

The Flashforge Creator 4 is a professional FFF 3D printer for commercial use that combines functionality, flexibility, productivity, and top performance in creating end-use parts and functional prototypes. The machine is equipped with a fully enclosed temperature-controlled printing chamber that can maintain a constant chamber temperature up to 65 °C due to the thermal controlled system. Furthermore, its massive build volume of 15.7 x 13.8 x 19.7 in (400 x 350 x 500 mm) meets most manufacturer's printing needs.  

The device offers multiple advanced functions, such as the intelligent filament management system, filament runout detection, auto bed leveling, resume printing from power outage, effective heat dissipation, two filament spool holders (1 and 2 kg), and HEPA13 air filter.

However, the biggest advantage of the Flashforge Creator 4 is the IIDEX (Interchangeable Independent Dual Extruder system) with its dual extruders working independently along the X-axis. Thanks to the use of the two extruders, the device supports duplication and mirror printing modes, doubling the production volume. Another useful feature of the IDEX system is dual-color or dual-material printing, including building soluble support structures.

The Flashforge Creator 4 is available in two versions, namely the Creator 4A andCreator 4S, with the difference in the types of extruders that come with the printer. The Creator 4A model is equipped with two 320 °C Extruders-HT compatible with a wide range of engineering-grade polymers. The Creator 4S model comes with two 360 °C Extruders-HS for printing carbon fiber composite materials as well as two Extruders-HT.

Print quality

The Flashforge Creator 4 is an FFF 3D printer that can print layers at 15 microns. With it, you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces, complex geometry, and detailed composition.

Thanks to the linear rails, the device boasts smoother motion and increased stability, improving print quality and general printer reliability. Brand new S-type motion control system provides for smoother start and stop, accurate positioning of the nozzle, and exceptional detail.

Due to the intelligent filament management system exclusive to Flashforge Creator 4, printing temperature automatically matches with the material before a next print job starts, while the temperature controlled print chamber also matches with the material to reduce the thermal contraction and thus providing an ideal and efficient printing process with different preheating temperatures.

Materials

The Flashforge Creator 4-A uses 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of engineering filaments and other high-demanding materials no matter the manufacturer.

Being equipped with two Extruders-HT with a maximum temperature of 320 °C, the Creator 4A version supports printing with engineering materials, such as PLA, PETG, PC-ABS, PAHT, ABS, ASA, PP, PA, and PC. Additionally, you can buy an optional Extruder-F or Extruder-HS to expand the range of compatible plastics with flexible filaments or high-temp materials (such as PA-CF, PET-CF, PP-CF, PA-GF, PC-ABS, PP-GF, PPS-CF, and PPS carbon fiber composite filaments).

Build volume

The massive printing volume of 15.7 x 13.8 x 19.7 inches (400 x 350 x 500 mm) lets you print a single large model or simultaneously produce several smaller ones.

Printer controls

The printer is equipped with a 7" color touchscreen with enhanced sensitivity featuring an easy-to-use and clear interface.

The connectivity options include USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi, making for an effortless standalone operation. The Creator 4 also has a built-in HD camera for remote monitoring.

The machine uses the proprietary FlashPrint slicer. It works with 3MF, STL, OBJ, FPP, BMP, PNG, and JPEG file formats. The printer software runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Look and feel

The Flashforge Creator 4 is available in a gray-and-black color scheme. Its stylish look will decorate any workshop or maker lab.
